  • Where will Stories of Borrego be located?

    The project will be housed at the future Museum of Borrego (MoB), located at 707 Christmas Circle—the historic building that was once home to the Borrego Sun newspaper.

  • Who is leading the project?

    Stories of Borrego is led by Mitzi Matijevich, with a focus on gathering oral histories and community stories to celebrate and document the people and culture of Borrego Springs.

  • How can I get involved with Stories of Borrego?

    Community participation is at the heart of Stories of Borrego. Whether you have a personal story to share, historic photos, or want to volunteer, there are many ways to contribute. Stay tuned for calls for submissions and updates on how to participate in this community-led project.
